He is highly acknowledged for his ingenuity in making the near impossible work following his establishment of Phase3 Telecom at a time, playing as a Carriers Carrier and Infrastructure Service Provider in Nigeria’s Telecom space seemed like an indomitable feat.

He is an astute pioneer and dynamic progressive, consistently exploring inimitable options to expand Phase3 business possibilities, in an industry that constantly undergoes rapid evolution.

He is also a visionary whose consummate and inclusive management outlook, has seen him transform Phase3 from a National Long Distance Operator (NLDO) to the service provider of choice with extended reach into the West African sub-region riding on its partnership with ECOWAS.

As founder and executive chairman, Jegede continues to engineer a transformational leadership style as well as an exceptional familial and robust corporate culture. This has seen Phase3 effectively transcend its generic market play as a telecommunications infrastructure provider, to the current seamless cloud, communication and broadband solutions expanse that makes it possible for its clients to enjoy network access to over 400 cities worldwide through multiple global partnerships.

One of many ways he did this, is the foresight to focus on the opportunities in emerging markets.  Hence the  partnership with Airtel Nigeria to offer subscribers a distinctive mobile TV viewing service which requires minimal data consumption – at a competitive differentiation of  20 naira per day subscription fee.

To swiftly mitigate past sharp turns experienced in the company’s operations, he revamped the company’s corporate structure via the constitution of a multitalented, Board which under is expert stewardship as chairman, continues to steer Phase3 digital transformation strategy and mapped future projections through focused direction and a sustainable governance structure that fosters creativity, high-performance and multilayered success legacy. Such forward thinking approach and many more accomplishments forms the basis of his being inducted into the Nigeria Broadband Council.

More so, committed to solidifying partnerships; exploring more ways, and channelling investments into scalable solutions to optimize the continent’s high tech potential as well as to transform its connectivity space – especially at another time in human history defined by a devastating global pandemic, social disruption as well as widening  economic uncertainties;

In 2021, he rolled out a three-year plan to amplify Phase3 play in the technology space with a focus on engineering client network access to meaningful, cost-effective and secure connections through layered digital services on a future-proof digital infrastructure designed for ultra-high-performance, efficiency and premium experience for clients synonymous to the Phase3 brand.

Jegede holds a B.Sc (honours) in Business information systems from University of North London, and M.Sc in Business information Technology from Middlesex University, London and in spite of his growing successes, he remains a man of heart and philanthropist supporting many causes geared towards engendering good quality of life for Africans through the Stanley Jegede (SJF) and Phase3 Telecom (P3TF) Foundations respectively.
